Spay / Neuter Services
Beginning in May, we are changing the way we book spay/neuter clinic appointments
Clinics in May 2026: Saturday, May 16
Please see below for how to request an appointment.
- On the first day of each month, we will accept inquiries by email only.
- Requests made on any other day or by any other method will not receive a reply.
- Emails will be reviewed in the order in which they are received.
To be considered, you must include all information below in your email….
1. OWNER INFORMATION

2. PET INFORMATION
- Name
- Species
- Breed
- Sex
- Age
- Weight
- Color
3. OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- You must be available to drop off your pet in the morning and pick up in the afternoon.
- Your pet must be between the ages of 6 months and 6 years, in good health, and preferably up to date with their vaccines.*
- Finally, payment must be given in advance to confirm your appointment (no-shows will forfeit this payment).

*A note on vaccinations:
If your dog has not been vaccinated against rabies, we will vaccinate on the day of surgery at a cost of $20 to the owner. We strongly recommend that dogs be vaccinated against DA2PP and cats be vaccinated against rabies and FVRCP to protect their health and reduce the risk of serious infectious disease. Failure to vaccinate as recommended is against medical advice, and may increase the risk of illness, complications, or transmission of disease to other animals. Furthermore, certain veterinary procedures, including surgery, boarding, or hospitalization, may carry increased risk without appropriate vaccination. Owners who decide to proceed with spay / neuter surgery at DCAC without following aforementioned vaccine recommendations assume full responsibility for any consequences that may result from their decision.
